Reflections

One of the goals of Project LAMBS is to help direct people into a deeper abiding relationship with Jesus Christ. To be a connected living branch engrafted into a personal relationship and fellowship with Christ and each other.

Through evangelism, we want to show people how they can connect to Christ as the true vine.

With discipleship, we want to help people deepen their relationships and walk each day so they may have the fullness of love, joy and peace. We are praying that people may be able to bear fruit that will “last” for Christ's glory and kingdom. We are all connected with each other and in an abiding relationship with Christ. Christmas is all about God coming “To US,” and Christ's death made it possible for God to be “In US” by the empowerment of His Holy Spirit. 

Myanmar / Kachin

Katchin translation of the Bible Dictionary and Concordance book

We have printed another 1200 copies of the “Bible Dictionary and Concordance” for Myanmar's Kachin pastors and leaders. We praise God that all the needed funds came in to complete this discipleship-equipping project. 

We want to continue to pray for Samsom and his family. They have now been permitted to go to the prison to see Samson at least once before Christmas. 

The war in various parts of Myanmar has greatly affected phone and internet service, making communication challenging. 

Hkaw Win’s family is still safe at this time. 

We need to continue to pray for the outreach ministry of the churches in Myanmar. 

Ukraine

The Lord has done a miracle that even during the war, “Christ Jesus: In the Fullness of Time” and the tracts “Pure Gift of Love” and “Pure Living Water” have been translated and are being distributed in various cities and along the front lines of war. 

Please pray for the teams of people who have a desire to give hurting people's hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. 

USA

We have been shipping many books and booklets throughout the USA. Books that have been translated into Kachin, Spanish and many English additions. In the last two weeks, we have shipped over 12 boxes. Please pray that these tools and evangelistic seeds will impact many people for the Kingdom of Heaven. 

Canada

We have been sending and handing out thousands of books from coast to coast and from the North to the South. They have gone to Northern Canada – Inuit, First Nations communities, and various churches. We seen diverse language groups taking them to their peoples, like Spanish, German, French, Filipino, Chinese, and now Portuguese. Praise God to all of you who have translated these books in a step of faith; because of your service, people are being touched worldwide. 

We are now doing our annual Christmas outreach in Clearspring Mall in Steinbach, where we are handing out thousands of booklets again. We now have a team of 10 people committed to different time blocks over six days a week for December. These materials will be used also in home groups, Sunday schools, and youth ministries. We also have the opportunity to pray for many hurting people, encouraging them to trust Christ more deeply. 

Please pray for this month because we will send out the Christmas Story called “Christ Jesus: In the Fullness of Time” to over 15,000 homes all over Southern Manitoba 

New Evangelistic & Discipleship Booklets

We have completed two new books this fall. One is an evangelistic tool on Christ's Birth called “Jesus Christ: In the Fullness of Time.” It also has a colouring book. The second booklet is based on the essential principles one must understand as a disciple of Christ Jesus titled, “Called to Follow: Discipleship Lifestyle.” 

Daily Teaching: We continue teaching each morning on Facebook and YouTube. We connect to about 100 people each day around the world. Mainly, the goal is to help disciples and give various church leaders teaching outlines and information they can download to assist in the ministries the Lord has called them to do. God has given us the strength to continue to teach three days a week. 

David’s Song - Website Updated: We want to let you know that our website has been updated, and you can get all our various booklets, colouring books, tracts, and Bible cards there for free as an easy download. Please feel free to use and pass them on to others. 

Prayer Focus

For the countries of Myanmar, Nagaland, Nepal, Ukraine, Pakistan and Nigeria - there are various outbreaks of fighting and persecution against the pastors and churches. 

For our fellow servants doing translation work, artistry, writing and proofreading and for all the people we have joined together with to do evangelism and discipleship equipping around the world. 

That the needed finance will come in for the various projects for which we seek God's guidance. We have projects pending for Pakistan, the Philippines, Ukraine, Nagaland, Thailand, Portugal and Myanmar. 

For continued health and strength for James and Hkaw Win during this busy Christmas season.
